At Pathway Karate Academy, it’s all about bringing out the best in your child. Whether they choose to nurture their inner scientist, artist, teacher, doctor, or all the above, we give them the freedom to follow their curiosity and passion! Pathway Karate Academy curriculum will shape your child’s interest, while digging and exploring your child’s developing skills. We plan to create a solid foundation for learning and growth. Fun activities play a big role in how your child will develop critical skills while they are at Pathway Karate Academy. It may just feel like playing to your child, but what’s really happening is learning that will last a lifetime! Our learning centers align with the Rhode Island Early Learning & Development Standards (RIELDS) and include Science and Engineering, Technology, English Language Arts and our curriculum centralizes around the following 4 "C" themes:

Character
Being kind, empathetic and playing fairly are all things that make up character—and we think it’s important to focus on them. We build skills, not just awareness. Awareness is good; skills transform behavior.
Community
We’re all part of a community—and pitching in and interacting within that community can make a big difference. Your child will learn the value of community participation by being involved in an inclusive classroom community with a focus on group projects to explore common goals and enhance communication skills.
Creativity
At Pathway, your child will get to express their creativity through movement, music, visual arts, and more! There are no limits to the imagination of a young and active mind—and at Pathway, we want to make sure your child has the freedom to explore their creativity in any way that feels natural to them.
Collaboration
Collaboration is the key to building lasting relationships, character is the glue that holds them together, community is our sense of belonging and creativity provides the uniqueness that makes us special. Your child has opportunities to collaborate with youths and adults building lasting relationships.
