School Age Program Karate Instructor

The School Age Karate Instructor teaches students karate 3 to 4 days per week during program hours. In addition, this role is responsible for assisting lead staff in setting up and taking down activity areas including preparing supplies for the weekly lessons, assisting youth during activities leading and participating in activities, helps students with homework, prepares snacks and may assist as s a van monitor. No experience necessary, paid training available.

School Age Program Karate Instructor

• Teaches students karate • Setup and break down of student activity centers
• Preps for student activities, gather supplies for activities and prepares activity to make it easier for younger students
• Cleans and organizes activity areas after use
• May lead students in activities prepared by Lead Staff
• Helps students with their homework
• Prepares snacks
• Tutors and engages in activities with the students (if hired for that role)
• Assists with all fire safety drills
• Perform van driving or monitoring duties as assigned
• Responsible for preparing snacks and meals
• Responsible for cleaning and breaking down activity areas and outdoor areas
• May be asked to monitor the front desk/phones or letting in and screening visitors
• Follows all policies and procedures
• Attend staff trainings
• Responsible for reporting all safety concerns, violations of policies to the Lead Youth Instructor
• Performs other administrative or office duties as required or as assigned
