ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
More Than Karate. More Than Child Care.
Pathway Karate Academy is a Christian-based, family-centered Karate & Learning Academy located in Providence, RI's Smith Hill section. We are the Hombu (Home) Dojo of the martial arts style Nihon Koden Shindo Ryu (Pathway to God) and the only US-based training location under Sensei Mark Mason.
Pathway Karate is more than just a sport or a club; it is a way of life. It is the pathway to the classical values of Nihon Koden Shindo Ryu: discipline, strength, respect, unity, love, humility, and trust. We carry these values into our 5-Star-Rated, child-care program licensed with the Department of Human Services and offer preschool, before—and after-school, summer, and vacation camp programs. Our center is a community, and families matter. Families are welcome to come and connect, play, and actively participate with their children.
