ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Pathway Karate Academy is a family-centered Karate school located in the Smith Hill section of Providence, RI. We are the Hombu (Home) Dojo of the martial arts style of Nihon Koden Shindo Ryu the only US practicing location under Sensei Mark Mason, 5th Dan Black Belt and Master So-Shihan Felton Messina, 10th Dan Black Belt US, 7th Dan Black Belt Japan. We are members of the USA National Karate Federation, and our students are eligible to participate in regional, national competitions, and even the Olympics! Our staff are SafeSport Trained and Certified providing you with an environment safe for all students.
Pathway Karate is more than just a sport or a club, it is a way of life. We believe in a holistic total well-being approach. Gain strength, tone, and agility with our Zumba classes, and increase flexibility and mental clarity through our Yoga classes. It is the pathway to the classical values of Nihon Koden Shindo Ryu: discipline, strength, respect, unity, love, humility, and trust that we teach whether you are in our self-defense, after-school program, summer, or vacation camp.

BEFORE & AFTERSCHOOL
We are open for Before, Afterschool, and Virtual Full Day. Registration is required. Well-checks and daily attestation are required before children can enter.

VIRTUAL KARATE CLASSES

NO DROP INS OR VISITORS
To protect your safety we are not allowing visitors or drop-ins at this time. Please call us to schedule an appointment.

Parents must compete the attestation daily. Staff will meet you at your car for a well check before students can attend each day.

Our before-school service opens at 6:30 AM and our last evening class closes at 8 PM.
